iRhine received a grant from the NLT Foundation in Boston for Artwhirled, a magazine featured on iRhine.com. The purpose of this grant is to support critical coverage of the visual arts in Cincinnati with an emphasis on the metropolitan area and especially Over the Rhine. Writers are strongly encouraged to contact Artwhirled at the iRhine.com website for further information or see the Guidelines below. GUIDELINES: Artwhirled is an online journal. Please familiarize yourself with the Artwhirled features that have been archived on the iRhine.com site. Submissions must be sent to dyah@iRhine.com and received by email attachment. Illustrations and images must be sent in a digital format to dyah@iRhine.com. Content: exhibition reviews, interviews with artists and general commentary about the visual arts in Cincinnati will be given primary consideration. This includes installations, performance art, computer art and film works that are not intended for commercial distribution. Length: Most Artwhirled features run between two and three pages of single spaced,12 point type. A word count of 800-1200 words is suggested. Deadline: Open. Acceptance: The Artwhirled manager and editor reserve the right to edit submissions. Editing will be done in consultation with the writer by email. Payment: An honorarium of $100 will be paid to the writer for a published submission.
