Kaldis Coffee House and Bookstore
1202 Main St.
Located in the heart of the Main Street entertainment district, Kaldi's has been at the center of what's alternative, progressive, and independent in Cincinnati for over a decade. The place is casually cool, with a beatnik charm. High, tin ceilings stretch back into an expansive, urban space. Divided in half - two connected storefront spaces - one half leans more towards bar/cafe, while the other half leans towards restaurant. Don't miss the floor to ceiling bookshelves, stocked with an eclectic collection of titles that make for interesting and amusing browsing while awaiting that dinner, drink, or bottomless cup o' joe. Live jazz on the weekends sets the place a hoppin'.

Mr. Pig
Findlay Market 513-651-2251
Mr. Pig is BACK!

Mr. Pig (Paul Sebron) is back at Findlay Market with THE BEST ribs and rib tips in four states -- Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois.

He is opened his renovated Indoor and side walk Mr. Pig's Cafe and Carry out on Wednesday, August 27th.

And as always, he is more than just the best ribs; be on the look out for his shrimp, chicken, and special home style side orders.

Friday night he will be up and Mr. Pitiful's and will be back at Findlay Market on Saturday cooking his best for you.

You might have had the best ribs ever when he was operating Stegner's for the last three years or at his special appearances at Mr. Pitiful's or at the Aronoff Center (pssst - word has it that there is a Mr. Pig Junior in the works in the Aronoff Center's patio). Or you may be a veteran from the early days at Findlay Market.

Paul is a tribute to the classic entrepreneur. After ten years of community and labor organizing in Chicago and Northern Ohio, Paul decided that his best contribution might just be to give folks -- all comers -- a good meal. With $300 and a newly constructed cooker, he began the Mr. Pig story eight years ago.

Chapter Two of the Mr. Pig story would look good with you being among those who give it a good start and besides - the food is great and the cook is a real Cincinnati ORIGINAL born on Mound Street and a graduate of old Woodward High School in Over-the-Rhine.

MR. PIG IS BACK - in style! With great Bar B Que sauces, a smooth slicing style, shrimp, crayfish, brisket, chicken and when the fish are good -- catch of the day on Friday.
